Puerta Del Sol

A home shaped in stone. Antique terracotta runs underfoot beneath dark timber ceilings, and reclaimed limestone does the carving: a living room fireplace of monumental design, cut with corbels and floral medallions to command the open plan, and a bedroom mantel light in tone and ornate in detail, its subtle veining reflecting a soothing glow. The same hand shows in the door surrounds, thresholds, and window sills. Outdoors, irregular edged slabs run the garden pathways to an arched entry framed in stone and wrought iron, their edges speaking to centuries of wear.
