A Home Clad in Kronos

An estate held together by a single stone. Kronos limestone, reclaimed and read for its mineral swirls, shell flecks, and weather softened edges, paves the entry courtyard in mixed formats with mosaic squares set into the field. The same stone is carved into the entry surround, where columns and pilasters carry rosettes and fleur de lis motifs and the portal soffit forms a small stone antechamber. Indoors it climbs the stair as treads and risers with hand dressed edges. Warm grays and sandy taupes soften the hard architectural lines, and a low sheen finish means the stone loves water and night lighting equally.
